I have changed the blogs yet again. Not only did I give the other one a new name, but I switched the focus to not just the new baby - find out what her name will be over there - but I'm moving all info and happenings w/ Kaia there as well. I know there is more to me than just being a mom, and I needed to separate these two so I can really start believing that truth.
I've been doing two growth groups this semester - a moms group and a women's group . . . well maybe I've only been doing 1 kind of gg seeing as you have to be a woman to be a mom! - and yesterday I was only able to make it to the girls group in the evening. We are doing a Beth Moore study - I'm sure I've mentioned this before - and I'm really enjoying it! Its her Believing God book, but in the work book form and its been amazing! I have the book, the regular book, and had tried to read it @ least 3 or 4x but never got passed the 3rd chapter. The workbook though, has been great. I think I like her better in work book form, theres just so much more I can get out of it, and maybe its just a better format for me to learn and focus on rather than a plain book. I would like to do another one of her studies after this one, just on my own. I can see how it allows me to focus and get into the word in a way I may not on my own. Any suggestions as to which ones are good - from those of you who have done one before?
In other news - Its absolutely beautiful outside! This whole week has been wonderful and is really starting to fee like spring. I'm so glad - I'm over the cold, rain, snow and nastiness that winter brings to the NE! I am still however very much wanting to get away for a few days to some place even warmer - like a nice quite beach in the tropic - I'll have to settle going to that place in my mind for the time being. I had told Mark we should celebrate our 5yr anniversary back in Jamaica - or some where like it! This June will be our 5yr anniversary and we are having a baby instead - kind of puts a damper of the whole Jamaica thing! Maybe next year - or for Marks 30th Bday, which is also this year! Hummm, thats a thought! ; )
