I've signed up for a virtual community group through one of my new fave sits Leading and loving. The site is dedicated to encouraging women in ministry, and it has been to me over the last few months. I know I've posted about them before, about the JustOne conference a few months back.
Anyway, I've joined a group and I'm really excited to see how it goes. We start in Feb and will meet once a month. My group is made up of all pastors wives. I'm looking forward to connecting w/ other ladies that we all have something in common. My experience is you don't know unless your in this role. Having other women to talk to and share w/ who are in this life is a HUGE comfort and encouragement. I just hate that it took so long for me to find it : )
I'll be posting about the things I learn and ways I'll be applying what I learn to my life . . Like a commentary hehehe
When you say that you meet once a month, are you meeting in person or on-line? I would really love to be able to connect with other pastor's wives!

ReplyDeleteOh poo - I'm sorry. a great thing on there I really enjoyed was the 'just one' conference. it was all online, but they have reposted all the speakers they had. if you get a chance take a look, there were some really great point made and great speakers too : )
