Sounds like an old Beastie Boys intro, but no. I had a great chance to try out a kick boxing class last night at this studio and I heart it!
What a great work out, the kind of 'push' I need to keep going, and a lot of sweat. Isn't that what every good work out calls for?
The first series we did at church this year was Bod4God as mentioned in a previous post, and so keeping w/ that theme one of the growth groups this semester is a kickboxing group. I didn't sign up for the group, but I've been thinking about getting involved w/ some kind of excersise class.
So last night was my first time ever and it was a great time, and great work out! My body doesn't hurt as much as I thought it would, maybe I didn't push myself as hard as I could have. I'm not complaining!
I'll keep you posted on how things go and what I end up doing. My goal in all this will be to loose a few inches, not just pounds. Plus it would be nice to have a intense cardio outlet to let off steam!
