Always Something

Yesterday something Big happened here in the city. Something that could change our church forever. Something that is very segregating and discriminatory.

The courts here ruled in favor of the NYC Board of Edd. in giving them the authority to not allow churches to use their building as a placed to meet on Sunday mornings.
Here is the full story as published in the USA Today.

And being as our church meets in school buildings this makes it close and dear to my heart.
I'm not sure if I'm scared or angry at this ruling. I'm not sure why it matters who uses the school building when no one else is in it.  We pay a fee and the building isn't being used anyway. We create opportunity for overtime for people who have to be at the school during our services.
I'm just confused why this is a big deal. Would it be an issue if Muslims wanted to use the school. Would it be an issue if any other faith wanted to use it? Why does that when Christians want to use it?
Gotta love liberal NYC .. . . Its always something.
