Week of Thanks - Location

After deciding on moving out of NYC, and returning to the Buffalo area there wasn't much time to put away a down payment for a home, and we were not real interested in throwing away more money on rent if we knew we were going to buy something in the near future. Marks parents have a HUGE house. Its the parsonage at the church where his dad is the pastor, its just the two of them that live here.. . .  this is not a picture of their house, but its just like theirs - Massive!

So today I'm thankful for a place to live, for the time being, and a place to live where we are welcomed, and feel at home, and can save up a little money in the process! The joke I keep telling is that we have more room here in 3 rooms than we did in our whole apartment in the City, but its the truth!
Some might say they would never be able to live with their in laws - or even with their own parents - but I'm very blessed to say that I can live with my in laws, and that we have a good relationship in order to make this a nice transition. Its been a huge blessing for us, and I'm thankful for God's provision in our life in this area. The time will come for us to buy and have a place of our own, but until then I'll give thanks for providing for us.

Your turn, whats a situation that your thankful for that has caused you to really appreciate what you have?
