  1. I think this is a beautiful thing! So often I feel like family recipes aren't passed down anymore. I've always wanted to learn how to make greens the way my grandmother makes them. My mom's comes close but my grandmother's (her mother) are truly something special. Nia's already expressed an interest in the kitchen (I spend most of my time there!) and with my husband being Nigerian there are so many traditional foods I'd love to learn. I've tried following his aunt's preparation for stew but need several more sessions before I'll know it. BTW the soup looks delish!
