Isn't that how life is though? A constant change of how things are. In every area of my life I've experienced change - big and little change alike - from my hair color, to friends, our location, my size, and role in life.
My role as a mother is always changing, as our girls grow from one stage to another.
When Mark and I got married we changed location, and I moved from NC to NY.
Our time in NYC was a change, almost as big as our change back to suburban life.
My role and purpose as a staff wife, to a campus pastors wife and what I was being called to do as our family made that move.
I'm sure you have some changes - big and small alike - in your own life that are coming to your mind right now. How do you approach it? Are you aware of the changes as they come - preparing and anticipating them - or are they catching you off guard?
There are some things happening in my life - which I look forward to sharing with you soon! - that have me very excited to be apart of and yet I'm a little nervous about it. Fear is a weakness that I sometimes let get in the way of being part of big things - my fear of the unknown and what I'm not sure of yet.
I want to challenge you, along with myself, to step our and take that next step. Are you looking at doing something big, or small, that makes you a little nervous? Big or small, sometimes its God putting things/people on your heart, and until we step our and do something about it, that pulling on your heart isn't going to go away. Chances are good that when you take the next step and He is going to show you amazing things, and guide you along the way.
I know for me something great things are going to come out of my circumstance because I'm doing something about it. I know for sure nothing would come if I do not do anything about it!
Whats your 'thing'? Are you seeking God about it and what to do next? Just ask, He knows and is the best one to go to for guidance.

I'm excited to hear your news! I feel like I'm always in a period of transition and change. I know life has ups and downs and change helps us grow but sometimes I just want a period of no drama! My testimony is that when crazy things start to happen and I feel change I just know God is about do do something miraculous. He never fails, right? So often its hard to feel like things are happening to me rather than me making them happen. Not sure if it's just a period I'm going through or if it will turn around but Philippians 4:6 has really been a blessing to me time and time again.
