If you grew up in the early 90's you know exactly what I'm talking about. If you were around during that time you know what I'm talking about. Those really ugly - almost cute - naked plastic bright haired sometimes accessorized little trolls. Need a reminder?

Now you have to remember if you didn't before. I loved these things, and my dad would get them for me - he encouraged my interests. My mother was cleaning out some things from her house, and sent me a little 'care package' of sorts. All my trolls were included. Cute. I did what any mother would do and passed them along to the girls. The girls didn't know what to do with them at first, but saw them as a new toy, and off they went. Here they are playing with a fisher price barn and 90's - vintage - trolls.
What are your memories of toys growing up? If you have kids, do they have any of your old things? Its crazy how the times change, and fly by. Sometimes like this, its really funny to see how far we've come in the wold of play!

Cute! In case you weren't aware, Trolls were around when Heck was a pup...well, lets just say I had one when I was 8 years old ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh our beloved trolls!! Mom HATED those things haha my favorite were the ones w jewels in their belly. :-p Glad the girls are getting some fun out of our childhood. When do the Barbies start??? Haha!!
