Communicating - We all do it, some better than others. Women we know use more verbal communication than men - its just a fact.
Some of us like to use telepathic methods, but this normally creates frustration between parties due to - not everyone has tapped into this type of brain power.
Isn't this a frustrating problem? You're trying to talk to someone - maybe your spouse, or kids - and what you think your saying isn't bringing about the results you want. So Frustrating!
I have this problem of talking talking around what I really want, instead of just stating what I want/need, or do not want/need. Example, if I need help with something - lets say cleaning up the table after a meal - this is how I try to 'communicate' I need help. In stead of just using my words and asking my wonderful loving husband 'hey honey, would you help me?'
I huff and puff and blow the house down . . . . no wrong story, sorry -
I stomp around, and make lots of noise while I'm clearing the table. Its so silly. So childish. So not getting the help I want.
Communicating is something that we do. Its how we ask for help, offer advice, give instruction, receive instruction. I sometimes wonder how God views this area in us. When I need help, in an area of my life, instead of going right to the One who can really help me I turn whine, and complain why things are the way they are.
It always amazing me though, when I do turn to Him for help how He helps me, guides me, or provides for me. He always does! Imagine the time and energy I could save if I just went to Him first - my Faith, it's kind of like my communication, its a work in progress, which is hopefully only getting better!
