family time

Yesterday - being a special holiday weekend! - all 3 of us got to leave church together after the 1 combined service we had! It was wonderful, being home together, on a Sunday! I had to adjust my routine of things though, I'm so use to just going and doing things now on my own, that I forgot that Mark might have wanted to do nothing @ all but relax and watch some golf, maybe take a little nap - things he doesn't do now on Sundays. . . I'm worried for the fall and football season - But we all ended up @ the park, together, enjoying the wonderful day we had here! It was perfect - well almost perfect :-)

 

After going back to bed - from getting up w/ little girl - I was thinking. Remember that game you girls use to play, I think it was called 'MASH', and you would list a whole bunch of things like, your crushes @ the time, what you wanted to be when you grew up and a whole list of other things. Then when everything was filled in, you'd be told what would 'happen' when you 'grew up'. Like, you'd marry so - and - so, and you'd be a whatever, and make however much money, and then your place of residence would be determined by the name of the game 'MASH' - Mansion, Apartment, Shack, House. The status of Apt was almost as bad as shack. : ) I have to laugh, b/c this is my home now - an Apt! - and it is for most of the people that live here in the city! Funny how your perception changes as you get older, or your situation changes -
