Yesterday Kaia and I were in Manhattan most of the afternoon visiting w/ a friend. I don't think we could have picked a better day! It was perfect, beautiful and pleasant day out - not too hot, not too cold, just right! It was so nice too to spend some time w/ our friend - we've been here in NYC for almost 10 mo, and b/c of both our busy schedules this was the first time that we were both able to get together! I'm so thankful, in time like yesterday, for the great friends I've made here. Who would have thought? That we'd move to one of the biggest cities in the world and it would be an easier transition for me?! No I! But it has been - we have been so blessed to meet so many wonderful people here, and I'm even more excited about Journey -Queens! I know that we - as a church, and individuals - will be creating great relationships w/ this community. How exciting to be apart of something like that?! Giving others an opportunity to meet people, establish their own relationships w/ a great God, and other people! Life can be hard, and I can't imagine doing life w/o friends, and a community to support you, and knowing that this life isn't just here, on earth. That there is something SO much greater than this waiting for us! And that we can be apart of that, that anyone can be apart of that!! Hummm - this post wasn't suppose to be a 'come to journey queens' post, but I guess you can't stop talking about the great things that God is doing!?
