November, already?

I can't believe its already November! Where does the time go? I can't believe we're also right around the corner from christmas and the craziness that comes along w/ the holiday season. I love thanksgiving - its my most favorite holiday - and I'm really looking forward to being around family and friends. We'll won't be making it to my family this year, but I do enjoy Marks family and the friends we have back there. The other thing too is that there - @ least for the past 3 yr has - been snow flakes falling during our feast of turkey. And every year I had gotten a little down knowing that this was the start of the long winter. Now I know why bears sleep through it! This year though, we might have snow, and a long winter, but its nothing like an upstate NY Buffalo winter! Sorry for all you buffalonians who have to deal w/ it : ) I know Kaia and I were able to get up there a few times this summer, but its been a while sense we were last there, and I am looking forward to it. And, this is Kaia's first thanksgiving to eat all the great food. Oh, shes gonna love it!

In other news, we're still looking for a new place - we need 2br and our leas is up soon - so thats been fun to do these past few weeks : ( I'll be glad when we are moved and we can enjoy know we don't have to move any time soon. My sister is also coming up for a visit, well, I guess its not really a visit. She won tickets to some concert here in NYC and will be coming in Dec. It will be nice to see her, even if for a short time, and even if its not really to see us. I'm just glad another member of my family - whatever the reason - will be in the city so I might see them for a bit.

To end this little post - What are your favorite parts of Thanksgiving? Mine, I love the togetherness, w/ family, friends, and eating great food w/o all the stress of giving gifts. And, there's football! favorite turkey day dish? Stuffing!
