I don't know why it hit me today - but I was reminded again of how my life has changed in the past year. I'm going to see a friend today, and if we were any where else in the country - or any of the other places that I've ever lived, I'd hop in the car and go. Nope, not here, we hop on the subway, and even though we're only going a few miles - about 6 - I know it's going to take about 45mi to get there. However I'm not ill about it, I just know thats how it is.
