how diverse can we get?

We had such a great time out last night w/ some friends for dinner! I'll tell you what, there is nothing like food - any kind for that matter - to bring people together! I don't know how people who don't like to eat socialize! I mean really - I love to eat, and be around people, why not do that together?

We went for some Korean BBQ - a first time for Mark or myself - w/ some Korean friends of ours, and our worship leader and his family. Talk about diversity, we were the only white ones there - Johnny and his wife are Latino, and then the other 2 couples are Korean. Quite the mix. So when it was time to order, they ordered - all in Korean - and food just kept coming and coming, and we just kept eating and eating. It was great to get out and enjoy some adult time, and even more so, to get to know them all a little better. Theres nothing like food to bring people together! We were even able to do it w/o Kaia, thanks to another great friend who watched her. That was great too.

This week is going to be a great one - my BFF comes in town this week! Can't wait to have her here and see Kaia and show her around our new place. I enjoy having people come visit, and to spend time w/ and its been a while sense last Rach and I saw each other, so this will be even better.
