We have had a busy month of visitors - which I love! I love seeing old friends here and its great to have a house full of people - Last week, Rachel was here, this week our friends Dave and Monica came to visit, and John Mayer was the high light! Yeah for JM! The caoncert was last night, @ the Garden, I love going to the Garden. This has been the 3rd time in the past few months that I've been there for various things and reasons, concerts, PBR, and now John Mayer has toped my list!
There's nothing quite like a good concert, w/ good music, and of course the aroma of whatever in the air - there were security guys all over the area we were in b/c of that aroma in the air, I'm not sure they ever found who was producing it : )
I've had some good things, ideas, to blog about the last few days, and now of course I've forgot them - maybe its baby brain? Kaia has been growing this week. Shes starting to do something new, this very annoying whiney noise that shes been making. I still have some hair on my head, I don't know how, its such an annoying noise! I have taught her some signs, 'more' 'please' 'help', a few more but the hope was to insure that we/I didn't have to hear this whiney stage. Guess it wasn't a fool proof plan, or maybe I'm not doing something. . . . Have I not taught her enough signs? I know its hard, shes learning so much, new words, new signs, and she has so much to say and wants to do, to get it all out must be hard. But its been trying this week. I know she knows the signs for things that she wants, or needs help w/ its just a matter of her using them, instead of making noise. Is this a stage? Is this something that she'll out grow? I hope so. Maybe I should try teaching her some more signs?
Whatever I end up doing, I should mention too that shes such a fun little girl - when shes not whining and making that awful noise - and such fun to play w/. She loves to read her books, and play w/ her pink ball - thank you Nana, and Papa! - and pull out all the blocks, just to dump them on the floor. She going to be a great big sister, I just know it - or I just hope that it will be the truth!
Over all, this week, and weekend has been a good and enjoyable one - Monica and I are off to Union Square for some looking around and a little babies r us, and maybe a stop by Whole Foods. And maybe this snow will be gone sooner than later, and we won't be having anymore this winner, I'm SO over it! Happy Saturday!
Time to teach her "I love you!"
