I'm ready to pull out my hair - I'm ready to be out of the house, and possibly drinking a very strong something, and not come back for a little while.
Kaia started her day @ 5:45 this am - and all afternoon has yet to take a nap! The 30min snooze she took doesn't count in my book. I'm tired, I'm done, I'm over dealing w/ this day.
What am I going to do w/ 2?! What am I going to do on days like this w/ 2!? B/c there will be days like this! There will be many days like this I'm afraid. I'm scared to death of those days. . .
Kaia has been crying/whiney all afternoon, and I am too - I want some rest and possibly sleep as well.
I should say that I wasn't up @ 5:45, Mark is the one up @ that hr in the am, and he gets her up and fed her and takes care of her then, but 6:30 isn't really my idea of a waking hr.
She use to sleep so well, take naps well, and sleep till 7, or 6:45. I can handle that time, its a little early, but its a whole lot better than 5:45 am!
The blizzard we are having isn't make this day any better - I can't get out, can't take her out, can't do anything. This apt is only so big - and right now its not big enough for the both of us to be in . . .
Mark will be home @ 6:30 - I hope! - and that just makes this my count down. 3 more hrs. I can do it. . .
right?
You know, when Ali was around Kaia's age she TOO was getting up before 6 or right about 6!!! Maybe it's just the age? I'm glad things got better for you throughout the day, but it's so hard sometimes to be a stay at home mom! Especially while snowed in!!!! I also worried about having two and what the heck I'd do when they BOTH were in whiney moods. It does get hairy at times, but most of the time it's fine. You'll figure it ALL out and you'll be wonderful with two!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodi! thats just the encouragement I needed! I hope its just an age thing : )
ReplyDeleteps - love seeing all the pics you have of the 2 of them, they are so cute!
