Spring Cleaning

I know its not yet spring - technically - but I'm rearranging some things, starting w/ this blog. I did start this separate blog for the new baby. When we first found out that we were having another one I was a mess. I needed an outlet I could just put down my thoughts, and fears and what not. But now that we are almost @ the end our our first journey - caring this baby for almost 9 mo! - I started to think that I'd just dedicate this blog to the girls - miss Kaia and miss Olivia.
BTW thats the name we have picked for our new little girl! It took long enough!
So, hopefully I will be able to keep up w/ not one, but now 2 blogs! What am I thinking?! I enjoy being a mom, but there is more to me than just that, thats my reasoning for the separating the 2.

Enough w/ that - Here are a few pics to show our progress w/ new baby and Kaias room. For those of you who read Here and Now  you will already know this, but we put new curtains up in Kaia's room, and I love them! I think she does too. They give a pink hue to the room, and she seems to be sleeping just fine w/ them. Plus it makes it look like a little girls room, one that she'll be in for a while : ) The one is blurry I know, but you can get the idea. Now all I need to is to get some wire letters - from a blogger friend  - to put up for the girls names and do some rearranging, and I think this room will be all set!

In growing news - meaning the belly of mine that seems it will never stop growing! - I'm 26 weeks, and things are going well. Just had the glucose test yesterday, I got real nervous when I had it done w/ Kaia and yesterday was no different. I don't assume that there will be any problems, its just kind of scary thats all. But heres a look @ the progress we've been making -

As you can start to see, the belly button has been sneaking its way out from its normal spot as an inny. Its much further along than it was w/ Kaia. I just hope it goes back in! Just one more thing that they maybe not have told you about what happens during pregnancy - I don't even think that 'what to expect when your expecting' mentions anything about it : )

Thats about it - Kaia is doing well, enjoying being a little girl, and growing up a little too fast. Shes started getting her own idea of how, and when she thinks, things should be done. I'm trying my best, but this parenting stuff gets hard! I can only imagine what its going to be like w/ two and as they get older. She loves reading her books, and plays so well by herself w/ her toys. I hope that I can continue to encourage her to be creative, and resourceful. Miss Olivia has been very active - I'm not sure shes more so than Kaia, maybe I just don't remember - but I enjoy feeling her move all over and exploring her world shes in @ the moment. Wonder what that means for when shes in a whole new world? Will she be the same? We'll see!
