So this morning when little girl woke up - she was in awe of what was new in her world. Her eyes lite right up, her mouth opened real wide and she didn't really know what to do w/ herself! It was precious!
Miss Olivia could have cared less as I thought, she'll learn to love it I'm sure just as much as her big sister does. Speaking of Olivia -
This little one is growing very fast! We go Saturday for her 2mo check up - and shots, yuck! - and for Kaias 2yr check up - and no shots! We'll make sure that Kaia goes first, don't want her to think shes got shots coming too. I'm gad Mark will be going w/ us, I know I wouldn't be able to console Olivia and hold on to Kaia all by myself. Kaia hats the Dr. office, or anything that looks like a Dr office, or a Dr for that matter! This is a reason its best to have two parents - things like the Dr office!
In other news, I'm sure you've all heard by now that mother that was on a Southwest flight, who slaped her 13mo old daughter b/c she wouldn't stop crying, and the flight attendent who took the baby for the rest of the flight! I was in shock when I heard it on the news yesterday and still amazed. Of course, those of us who have little ones on a flight, don't want to be 'those people' w/ screaming kids, and I'm sure there have been a few times when you felt like raising your had to your little ones, but never took the swing! And then to do it in public. These poor babies! I'm so glad that, that flight attendent took controle of the baby, kept her safe, if for no other time than the rest of the flight. I'm thinking of just handing over my little one on the next flight I might be on if I'm unable to console their crying - just kidding. But really, how does one hit a child, a baby @ that?! As a mother, who has been very frustrated and tired of hearing the crying and whos had more than one long bad day, I would never think of hitting my little ones. Never. Its a funny thing, but really if you don't want kids, if you can't handle the job - and its a hard job! - don't bother. Don't put yourself, or another little life in your wrong hands. We are not all ment to be parents. . . .
Ok I'll stop. I'm going to kiss and hug my babies.
Hi Rebecca, thank you for the lovely comment on my blog! I haven't stopped by in a while and it's so amazing to see how big the girls are getting =) Kaia and her play kitchen are too cute. I still remember mine! The thought of her face lighting up when she saw it brought back fond memories.
