I've reached that place - the place when you start to go into that 'mom dress'. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not wearing mom jeans - yet - but I can see where people start to go off the fashion trail. . . For me, this odd stage of just having had a baby, and knowing - ok, maybe its just wishful thinking - that I'll loose some more weight w/ in the next 6 mo or so, and not knowing where, or what to buy.
I tried to do some shopping last night for some jeans - I'm in DESPERATE need of new pants and jeans that I feel comfortable in. And please, who out there enjoys shopping for jeans? Its the worst thing I can think of. I would rather do anything but that. But last night I went out and tried. I failed. I came home w/ a nice new pair of PJ's - they are really soft though - which still leaves me w/ out some new jeans.
I would love to be on 'What Not to Wear' so that I could just go and try on jeans all day and find some that I like, and someone would be there to tell me what looks good and what doesn't work for me. Lucky for me, I think I might have my own stylist and didn't even know it : ) After talking w/ a friend - who has a fashion back ground - I might have found my savior in this area of looking, and feeling, better about myself and my body type now!
I don't know what my fashion style is, and when I go into a store I get so over whelmed b/c I have no idea where to start or what things I need/can make work w/ what I already have. Ugh. Anyway, I was very reashured after talking w/ my friend that I'm not dong too bad, and to hear what style might work for me.
I want to look good, put together and stylish, I want to have more confidence in myself. I really feel that when you look nice, and put together, you feel better. I need to feel better in this stage of 'mommy of 2'. I need to have something that is just for me - I want to feel good in my threads!
