Hello Spring! Seems like it really made a coming out debut this afternoon.
This morning when I woke up it was very foggy and over cast and nasty. By the time I put the girls down Mr Sun came on out to warm and brighten my day.
Thank You Mr Sun!
I really wanted to get out to the park and enjoy the day - it suppose to be nasty and rainy tomorrow - and I was thankful that Kaia was taking a much needed nap - shes had a rough couple of days, and my answer to most problems in young children is sleep - but I really wanted to get out w/ both girls to enjoy the beautiful warm weather.
What is a mother to do?!
I let her sleep and we were out the door no less than 20min after she woke up.
The park was packed full of people - as I knew it would be on a day like this - but everyone seems to be in a happy mood and pleasant. Kaia played so well and miss Olivia wanted nothing more than to swing. She loves those swings!
We spent a while there soaking up the sunshine and running out some energy.
Its the little things that help the rough times go by a little easier.
I have great girls, but they are human too and just like mommy they have hard times and rough days, so its nice to have some time where everything is happy and playful.
What do you do w/ your little ones - if you have them - to help smooth over those rough times, or overcome the rough times?
Oh, I hate that I missed you gals, but I think you were totally right to let Kaia sleep. And yes, the park is a great remedy to crankiness sometimes.
