My dad is a green thumb. Not only is gardening, and plants his passion, its part of his job too. In the last few months has sent all kinds of kid friendly gardening things to Kaia. Yes, he knows where we live and that we don't have a little yard - or porch - to garden in. Hes been sending little things that can be done inside, and left in the window.
Kaia has loved it! And I've done a good job at allowing us to get dirty and even let her 'play in the dirt' a bit.
The last thing my dad sent were these little grass pets. We planted them and before we left for NC last week, nothing was happening. To her delight and great surprise when we returned this is what we found.
I guess we can have a little green space after all!
