The Bugs are Here

Not just any bugs, but hungry bugs. Very hungry caterpillars to be exact. Well, they called them 'larva' on the box they came in, but I like caterpillars better.

Anyway, Kaia got a butterfly kit from my dad, and we sent off for the 'larva' and as all caterpillars do, they morph into cocoons and then into beautiful butterfly's. Have I mentioned that one of Kaias favorite books is the very hungry caterpillar? So when my dad gave this to her I knew it would be a huge hit.

We sent off for out little bugs and they came in a small little box. And here they are! Soon we can move them into the special basket where they will nibble a little hole in the 'sleeping bag' they will have been in and pop! Out they will come!
