A good friend of mine and her husband just got back from a nice little vacation - just the two of them! - in Jamaica. When I heard they were going I was a lot jealous. Mark and I went to Jamaica for our Honeymoon and while we were there I said we should come back for our 5th year anniversary.
We had Olivia instead.
I am wishing and hoping for the day that we'll be able to go back. My friend went to the same resort that we went and after her telling of the trip to come so many great memories came rushing back.
We enjoyed a week at Couples Resort Jamaica. It was a great time and so relaxing and enjoyable. We aren't the excursion type, and me personally I'd rather lay on the beach and eat good food, than hike up some hill or look for adventure. Enjoying this type of setting now - after being married for a few years, having two children, and living away from the beach would be pure bliss. I look forward to going back, and until then I'll be stalking their web site.

ReplyDeleteI REALLY want to go back to Puerto Rico where we got married and where Uka worked for 3 basketball seasons. Even the whole family talks about returning. It's not in our future anytime soon though but my sister just told me she wants to go this fall. Yep, I'm jealous! The good news is (most likely) these places aren't going anywhere so I know we'll get back to the vacation spots we love soon, right? ;-)
