I have not been a part of Facebook (fb) from the beginning. I came to find a love and enjoyment of fb after it was opened to everyone - non students. There was an mediate attraction and infatuation that formed and a love of knowing and seeing what everyone else was up to.
I had been on My Space and then made the switch to fb. Over the years - as
the rest of you on fb might know - there have been several changes that have taken
place on their site. Updates, new lay outs, new graphics and designs. It
can get really irritating to get use to a change and then it happens
again, leaving you to relearn the new format.
Let me say that I am in total support of change and updating and keeping things current, but now its becoming a little annoying. So, I think I'll be making a switch again, to a new social network. And because Google is taking over the world, why not give in and move on w/ their movement? Everything else in my life is connected to Google - email, this blog, my phone and calender - why shouldn't my online social networking be too?
Because I can't make a clean cut - and loose out on knowing what those who are not yet on google+ are doing - I'll gradually pull away. I'll still be on @twitter as that might just be one of my all time favorite loves in the social media world. . . .
Where do you stand in the social media world? Whats your outlet of choice?
