Whenever we go through change there are normally several emotions that come along with it. For example, having a new baby. Pain - for the mother delivering - exhaustion, happiness, sorrow. Or you might relate to starting a new job. Fear of something new, excitement of something new.
We all go through changes good, bad and indifferent.
I use to think I was good with change, until change came.
I use to think I handled change in a good way, until I was in it or looking back at what happened.
I use to enjoy change - and I guess some change is good and I do enjoy some types - but in my old age, I'm starting to enjoy being set in my ways/routine/situation.

But how would we ever grow if we always stayed in the same place, in the same attitudes, doing the same things day after day, after month, after year?
We can't.
If we are not growing we are dying. If we are not moving, we are going backward. All the sayings you've ever heard, how simple they are to understand and get when your actually in change.

In order to grow sometimes we have to be stretched further than we think possible. Sometimes in order to enjoy what God has for us we have to make hard choices and decisions to take that next step. No matter how difficult that might be. Its not always comfortable to follow what God has for us.
What helps you get through change? How are you with change?
