Week of Thanks

This is the week of Thanksgiving! Its my most favorite holiday, whats not to love?!
There's all these wonderful things to look forward to and enjoy:
Lots and lots of food -
Family, friends, and loved ones -
Football -
Pretty Colors -

Its a wonderful time of year! Its about giving thanks to God for all that He's done for us this past year. Keeping us safe and healthy, for providing for all our needs and many of our wants, and for loving us. I'm sure you could come up with a long list of your own.

So this week's post are going to be all about things that I'm thankful for. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the days topic - please feel free to comment!

Today we'll kick off with Family. I'm thankful for the many different parts of my family - my mom and dad and siblings, my in-laws, and of course my family with Mark and our girls.
But I know that my upbringing has so much do to with the person/wife/mother I am.
I was privileged to have Christian parents, and raised with Godly values and christian beliefs. I know they shaped my young impressionable mind and guided me - even when I strayed away - back in the right direction. I'm thankful for all their love and support along the way, and instilling in me, from a young age, what was right and wrong in theirs, and Christ eyes. For showing me that I am loved by Him, and that I could have a relationship with Him. Thank you Mom and Dad!

Now your turn, what are some things you are thankful for about your family - Christian or not. Our parents help to shape our lives, how did they impact yours in a way your thankful for?
