A Little Question Fun

A friend and fellow blogger - whom I look up to and find inspiration from on how to make my blog better - Mrs Lovebird, has tagged me in a questionnaire of sorts.

Here's how we play -

- You must post 11 random things about yourself.
- Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post.
- Create 11 new questions for the people you tag to answer.
- Go to their blog and tell them that you’ve tagged them.

My 11 Random tid bits -
1.When driving in the car I sing really loud - if I'm by myself, or just with the girls.
2. With both my sisters taking up ink as a way to express themselves - they both have some nice pieces - I took up the piercing side of pop culture and have a few holes in my body I wasn't born with.
3. I never wanted to be a mother, and having two little ones now, I don't want to be anything but a mother.
4. Being born in the south pacific its rather ironic that I now call the cold north east my home.
5. It really annoys me to have an empy dishwasher and a sink full of dirty dishes.
6. When in the car my 3yr old will ask to listen to 'her music' Adele is who she is referring to. Her favorite song - Rumor.
7. Know that crunching sound the snow makes under you feet? I like that sound.
8. The outdoors aren't really my thing, I don't like all the mud and dirt. The beach however is another story.
9. A job of mine once was at a local bakery, I gained at least 10lbs during my short employment of 9mo there.
10. My goal in life - till I was married and moved away from the beach - was to always have nice dark, tan skin. I did pretty good for a while.
11. I have never broken a bone, or sprained anything.

Mrs. Lovebirds random questions for me.
1. Did you watch the Super Bowl? If yes, did your team win? If no, what were you doing instead? Yes I did. We enjoyed watching the game at some family friends home cheering on the Giants! We also enjoyed lots of yummy food.
2. If you could be a female pop star which one would you be and why?
I would love to be Taylor Swift. Shes a solid young girl who has an amazing talent and I think is a positive role model for young and old girls. She's fun and trendy, modest and relevant. I hope my girls have someone like her for their generation.
3. If you weren't doing your current job/role what else could you imagine yourself doing?
I'm not sure what I want to be when I grow up, but I enjoy writing and giving my opinion and encouraging others. Maybe a review blogger, or columnist.
4. What's the last great book you read?
The last book I read was All these things I've done, by Gabriella Zavin. I enjoyed it. I need to finish the other two I'm reading and pick up another!
5. Share an interesting dream you've had.
Now reading this question makes me forget the dreams I've had! I've had some pretty strange ones lately, might be the benadryl I've been taking to sleep.
6. What's your favorite restaurant and when you go what do you order?
I'll say the last place we went to in the Clarence hollow, near where we live, called The Hollow.  It was our first time there, but I really enjoyed the food, and the atmosphere. I had salmon, cream rizoto, and fresh green beans. It was delish! Reminded me a lot of the places in NYC - how I miss the range of fabulous food there.
7. What part of your home do you hate to clean?
I don't clean the bathroom because I hate it. That's my hubby Marks job, which he does very well!
8. Are you a fan of Valentine's Day? Why or why not?
I use to, but then realized what a silly hype it is, and because we don't do anything to celebrate really. My favorite color is pink though, so I do enjoy the day for that reason.
9. What grade of elementary school was your favorite and why?
I was home schooled 1st - 6th grade, but I really enjoyed 4th grade the most. I think it was the subject matter, or maybe because I was getting to a point where I enjoyed what I was learning.
10. What's the next vacation destination you'd love to go to?
I would LOVE to go back to Jamaica. We went there on our honeymoon, I said we should go back for our 5year anniversary - we had a baby instead that year. So maybe this year, or hopefully next for an even celebration of 8yr.
11. What made you smile today?
The funny things my 3yr old says and seeing our 19mo old light up to see me after her naps - our girls.
