An App of Encouragement

My hubby Mark told me of this great bible app a while ago. He uses it on his phone - and their web site - so when I got my iphone I was all ready to get YouVersion bible app by Lifechurch.tv.

 I'm doing the Joyce Myers devotional, The Confident Women and being a confident woman. I don't know about you, but this is an area I struggle in daily. Today's passage and snippet of Joyce's was on relationships between men and women - how we as women like to give our advise all the time, weather its asked for or not. Men only want advise after they have tried everything else.
'Men are motivated and empowered when the feel needed - Women are motivated when they feel cherished.'

 I can only imagine the Confidence that comes with not caring about what others think of you, or the pressure that comes with trying to please others. One other, or a group of others. If you're trying to please anyone you will always fail. When we live lives that are pleasing to God, when we are following Him down the paths He has for us I think that's when we will feel needed, cherished and happy with who we are. That's when we can be confident in who we are and succeed in our roll as the person that our creator is molding us to be.
