Fail - on keeping up with post and family, and Christmas this season. I can't do it all at once, but here is a little recap of how we spent this Christmas Season.
Decorating the tree is on of my favorite traditions. I love the lights, colors and the smell - Pine! No spray, or candle can match the real smell. This was the first year we all decorated and help. We put a little fake tree up stairs for the girls - and all the miss matched non ball ornaments went up there.
Christmas Eve is a busy day and filled with things I love celebrating. We kick off the evening with Christmas Eve services filled with Christmas songs and candle light - my favorite part of the service! Its also the only day you will see my girls dressed up in dressed, they sure did look cute. Thank you Nana for outfitting them in the perfect dresses for their personalities. I don't care for matchy match kind of dressed/outfits, but these are coordinated quiet nicely.

{All Dressed up} |
After church we head over to Marks grandmas for food, and family gift exchange. Its been something we're always done and a nice way to celebrate with everyone.
This year was the first year we celebrated in our own house sense the our oldest was born. We've always been visiting from out of town, but this year we woke up in our own place - what a great feeling to be home owners! - and had a nice family time. The girls had a great time opening up gifts and we even got to play with a few.

{Merry Christmas!} |
Hope you had a wonderful very merry Christmas. Hope that this year was filled with blessings and Love from Christ. This next year will have its own set of challenges, but I pray you will be able to set some time aside today to reflect, remember and give thanks to God for all that He's done. We are nothing with out Him, and can only find true strength and encouragement in Him to continue to carry on.
Happy New Year!
Rebecca
