New Year, New You! We are almost done with the first month of this new year. I can't believe it! There is that time between something Big after all the celebrating and craziness has settled and the beginning of your 'back to normal' life routine. Although its kind of funny, because if you make resolutions to do life differently, this time isn't about getting Back to normal, its about taking steps and making decisions to create a New Routine - a new you for the new year/season/time.
I heart Bravo TV - huge charter flaw I know - but I really want to stop watching so much non reality reality TV. The more I watch those shows the more I would get worked up by them and then walk away feeling kind of icky about my choice of entertainment, and how I just spent an hour of my life.
So what do you do to get rid of the old, and bring in the new? Do you empty everything and throw in the new, or do you do it gradually? Is it an ease into process, or do you jump right in? Do you give yourself a chance to renew and refresh, or do you try to make up for and cover up what has been - and once was.
What did I choose to do? I have stopped DVRing some of the ones that really didn't need to be on there - I am a real house wife, but not in the way Bravo shows!

If we want real change in our life we have to create and clean out the space that old once inhabited and lived. The old doesn't just accumulate over night - nor does the new change that we want happen over night.
We have to make choices on things that are more important to us.
We always make a way for the things that are important to us - the things that matter to us.
Christ is our Refresher, our Rejuvenator. He is the One who fills us up so that we may over flow with Mercy, Love, Grace, Joy, Peace, and Life! And I want to spend more time being Filled and Overflowing than I want to watch fake housewives live superficial lives.
He is able if we are willing to let Him Refresh us in order to Live for Him!
