I was reminded the other day at how simple it is to hand over our problems, worries, fears, hurts and frustrations from the simplest of things - a VBS CD of the girls! So when the next morning a friend posted on her FB the same verse the VBS song was about I knew it was something I needed to be taking note of.
"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done."
Philippians 4:6
What it comes down to it - No matter what is going on in your life - pray.
Pray when your frustrated.
Pray when the morning is spiraling out of control and you still have to get your kids to the bus.
Pray when you are hurt and angry with a relationship that isn't going the way you wanted.
Pray when your trust has been broken.
Pray when you are tired and don't think you can go on one more minuet.
Pray when you stubbed your toe.
Pray when you are stopped in traffic and just want to be home!
Pray. About Everything.
Open line of communication is a key for any relationship and when we are open with God - who already knows whats going on with us anyway - its like giving Him our worries and hurts and fears and frustrations and letting Him take care of them so we don't have to worry.
Pray. Don't worry. Give Him thanks.

It's pretty awesome how God can use our kids things to reveal something to us. :) Had a pretty similar experience the other day with some kids worship music I put on for E.
