Tonight I was @ an all girls jewelry party! It was great - the down side? I saw lots more that I liked than I could afford!
As I was leaving, and walking home I realized that I am blessed! I have a fantastic group of girls/ladies who love me, and make me feel so welcomed when ever I see them! I know that they are real friends, by the way the act, and treat me, and most of them didn't know 'who' I was when we met! And they have always treated me the same way! (The whole pastors wife stigma isn't as much here - I'm SO thankful for that!)
Back to tonight, I truly enjoyed myself! You know how it is when your around people you know, and who know you. Know that level of comfort you have when you are w/ them, that relaxed feeling you get? The kind that might even be better than being w/ family : ) - just kidding! It really was a great time though, to be w/ other girls, enjoying each other!
I love the city! I love the people here! I'm so thankful that this move - this change in my life - has been one of the best!
Our God is love - you are bigger than we let You be! Our God is so gracious! I know that the smoothness of this transition in my life has been b/c of His love for me, and me being faithful to Him. There is no way that I could have done this, or be in this kind of mood if had not been for Him!
PS - I found a new hobby while on the train writing new posts!
