I wanted to take a minuet and look @ some good times. There's nothing like good food, good friends, which in turn creates good times - yes, I just came up w/ that little phrase all by myself, talented I know! In these picture bellow are some close, dear friends, and some of the good times we had out. Some of these girls and I have known each other sense we were 5! 5yrs old, that seems like forever ago!

We have a history together, we have memories. And as much as I wish we could all still live close, and have the same relationships we once did - its impossible. I'm not so sure I'd be the wife, and mom I am if I still lived near them - what I mean is, I don't think I would have been able to mature and become the 'responsible' one I am now w/o having moved away when we did.

I love seeing, and catching up w/ everyone. Sometimes you need that, to feel like your all still connected, and you have a kind of history. I also love meeting new people, and creating new relationships. I feel like thats what we're doing here in NYC - creating new friendships, and investing in peoples lives. Its a good think I'm such a people person!

So where will we all be in another 10yrs? Will we be a group filled w/ divorces, broken families? Will we have 2x as many kids as we did this time? - Sarah P. that would mean you'll have 6! - Will we still be the same girls we were so many years ago? How will our lives be?

I can remember playing 'American Girls', we had a club - The American Girls Club, after the dolls of course. We'd get together, and we had 'real' meetings - @ the age of 7! - we even had dues! I'm thinking I shouldn't have even been allowed in the club, I didn't even have an American Girls Doll! But my friends wouldn't have not let me in for a reason like that. They loved me, and cared about me, and supported me. They still do - maybe thats why we all showed up - b/c we love, and care for each other, and we have a history, a relationship!

Whatever the reason, those of us who made it out, we made it a priority and showed to the others that 'you mean a lot to me'. Thats how I felt anyway. And though some of us keep in touch on a regular basis, I enjoy how those that I don't, we were able to pick right back up where we last left off. Lasting, life long friendships - thats what's important in life to me.
