all in a days work

Yesterday I drove into the city to pick up somethings that Mark needed for Queens on Sunday. So, 2hr later and 12mil crossed, Kaia and I arrive safely home. Off we went to play w/ our friends for the afternoon. On our way home, I notice that the car looked a bit odd, thankfully I had gotten a great spot out front when we returned from the city, and as we walked into the apt I could tell something wasn't right. Sure enough, things we were all right. The back passengers side tire was going flat! Great - what do I do now? I emailed Mark to let him know what was going on, what else could I do? When Mark got home he took a look, and yes, it was still going flat. This morning, Mark went out to get us coffee, and noticed that even more air had escaped the tire, and was now flat - no more going, it had arrived. We had had plans to go out and do something w/ the car today, home depot was a stop that was impossible w/o the car. Now it looked as though our day would be filled w/ unpleasant car repairs in Queens - wonderful! I have to say here, that I have a great husband - he knows just what to do, call the right person for the job! Thank you Geico for! He calls to see what our coverage covers and to our great surprise this was one of those times where all that $ we've paid is paying off! They send out the 'Road Butler' who changed the tire, and put the one on that was in the car - which was a regular tire not just the doughnut!!! - and all in a matter of 1/2hr from the time we talked to the people @ Geico! Mind you all of this was before 8am! So, our day thus far, has turned out to be just fine and we were able to get to H/D and even the mall to get Mark a new watch for his birthday!
