Sign Ups

Our church growth groups are starting back up for the fall semester. I signed up for a group a few weeks ago, a girls group, that I know the girl whos leading. During the spring semester I was in her group and really enjoyed it. So I wanted to be apart of it again this semester. After my disappointing summer moms group I am ready to get back into something thats positive and encouraging! 

Then I saw that there was a moms group on the sign up site and had been thinking the past few days of possibly joining that group instead. As much as I love the girls that will be in the girls group, I really am hungry and want so badly to connect w/ other moms who have little ones. What better than to join a moms group. However, my last experiences w/ a moms groups was not been ideal - I tried to lead a moms group in which no one came to. So, I went over to the site to give the moms group idea another shot, and the one I was looking to join was closed! : ) I had to chuckle - I wasn't 100% sure that I wanted to do it in the first place, and even had a few reservations about it. Oh well, maybe another time.

In other amazing news and happenings of our little life here in NYC - Miss Kaia is starting to pull up on everything! I get so worried about her, when I look @ what shes doing, or not doing. The girls we play w/ are 14mo and 17mo and both are so much more advanced than Kaia. I know each baby does things on their own time line, but I can't help think that things might be 'wrong'. When I look @ Kaia around the girls, she looks and acts like such a baby, not a toddler like they are. Anyway - here are some pics of her GREAT accomplishments this week! I'm SO proud of her!

I will have to take some more to show off - keep a look out for 'em!
