This afternoon Kaia and I went to the Dr apt w/ my new midwife. I was little concerned @ how she'd do, but to my wonderful surprise she did great! Not only did she do well, I'm SO glad that I looked these ladies up! She was great, personable, and took her time to talk to me, get to know me, and even did well w/ Kaia the few times she was getting fidgety! I knew there was a reason I wanted to see a midwife : )
I wasn't able to just hear the heart beat - this little one was hiding - so she did an ultrasound, and we got to see and hear the little one! I cried. It was amazing. It made it so real for me. Not to belittle the nausea I've been having, but theres something about seeing and hear the little life growing inside you . . .
