Starting again

Thats the fun part about a new year - you get to start all over again. You may choose to make some kind of changes - get in shape, be a better person, give more time/$/of yourself - whatever it might be that you're changing this year I hope that you stay true to it.

I was never one to make changes, or say that I'm doing something different @ the beginning of a new year. I didn't want to set myself up for disappointment. Then I met this man, who was very organized, and knew what he wanted, and how to go about getting it in the best way possible. Then I married him, and it just even more evident to me that he knew what he was doing - he read so much, and loves learning ways to do things better. Using the time he has in the best way is another strong area for him, there's so much that I've learned from him, and I hope to keep on this track. But one of the biggest things he's taught me was to write things down - So Simple! So Easy! So Elementary! But so true - you're more likely to follow through in/w/ something if you write it down. This year, I wrote it down. I wrote down the things, areas in my life I'd like to improve in. Habits I'd like to create in my life to be a more active wife, mother, person. We'll see, I know I can do - now its a matter of just doing it.

As a family we started our year off in an educational way - we went to the museum of NYC. Kaia didn't really care so much about it, but had a good time anyway. I'm ashamed to say it was the first museum we've been too sense moving here over a year ago - shhh, don't tell anyone that we've yet to see a Broadway show as well! It was a FREEZING cold day here in the city, but once @ the museum we had a nice time. Here are a few shots of miss Kaia enjoying herself.
