23 weeks

I have a dr apt this am for this little baby inside! Its amazing that its already been 23 weeks and theres no looking back - I guess there never was really, its just getting closer now. I think we should start doing some things to get ready, but what do you do to get ready for a second little one? I'm not going to register again, I'm not really getting anything big new, like a car seat, crib, I don't know. What really does one do for the second child? I don't wan to not doing anything! I mean, poor thing will need some new things. I want to get and do new things w/ this girl.

We didn't know what we were having w/ Kaia, and so to know w/ this one makes it a brand new experience all over again. I like that. Like this weekend a friend was in town and we were @ babies r us looking around @ some things - they are due w/ their first a few weeks before us - and I was looking @ all the cute little new born things, and thinking what will we bring her home from the hospital in? We didn't have anything ready, or @ the hospital for Kaia. Thankfully  my mother brought some clothes, but it was huge on her! I want to have something just as special - what my mom brought was mine I think . . or one of my sisters anyway - but that fits. Theres so many things to think about out! I don't think my mind ever stops, speaking of which, I better get going, a friend will be here soon to watch Kaia while I go, and I should be finishing getting ready!
