Kaia and I meet up w/ some friends @ one of the parks in the neighborhood this morning. I love getting out w/ her, and really enjoy meeting up w/ people when we are out! Nothing like some adult conversation, along w/ getting fresh air!
It seems just chilly enough for a light hoody, so Kaia got the cute jean jacket, and I pulled on the ever famous Journey hoody - its a go to piece when wearing jeans and not when I'm not really caring what I look like! We got to the park and enjoyed some time w/ our friends and the wonderful sunshine that was out. Near the end of our visit, Kaia 'meet' another little girl on the playground about her age w/ her mommy. It was so cute they were following each other and exploring the same area in their own way : ) So as we were about to leave the mom comes up to me and says
'Do you go to the Journey?'

'Hehe, yes I do!' realizing what I was wearing
I'm like free advertisement for the church! It was nice though to meet her, and chat a little, who knows, maybe we'll meet up again, or they'll come an check it out. I hope so - Its nice to meet another mom you mesh well w/, who has a child your child's age. Who knows, but it was just kind of funny what a conversation starter I had put on w/o even knowing it! I just wanted something to cover up the too short t-shirt I have on, and look what happens b/c of it : )
