Miss Olivia Grace will be 4 weeks this wednesday - although date wise she'll be 4 weeks on the 16th . . how does that work? - and I can't believe its already been a month! What happened? I feel like I just had her, and its already going by so fast. I don't remember it being like this w/ Kaia, I guess something happens after you have a second one, time really flies!
I was looking @ this the other day, and can't believe its already been almost 2 yrs sense last we did this w/ a new born!
How time goes by - and not very slowly! Our life is starting to settle down, or at least we're getting into some kind of routine.
Kaia is a GREAT big sister, she loves Olivia so much, and has sense we brought her home! Here and I have rough moments, but over all we are learning to be a mommy of 2, and a big sister to share mommy w/.
Sleep is hit or miss, I have good and not so good nights. And in the afternoons I can take a nap while Kaia is - what I should really be doing now instead of posting on here! Life in the first couple of months was hard w/ Kaia, so I'm only expecting that this transition will be the same, rough for a while, and smooth on out @ some point.
Life as a parent, its never safe, your never guaranteed anything, easy kids, sleep, a life of your own . . . Right now some of my favorite times of the day are when I put Kaia to bed, and she gives the best hugs. No matter how hard, or great our day is, she helps me remember that these times are only for a short period, I'm trying to hang on and enjoy them, at least remember them : )
