My poor little baby - Olivia, 4mo - has a little cold. The poor thing can't breath out of her nose, and for those of you who may not know, thats the only way babies know how the breath, is through their nose! So, that means that I have to keep pouring saline drops into her nose and sucking the snot out w/ the little ball thing. She is NOT a fan of this as I'm sure you might think. Kaia, my oldest doesn't like it much either. On top of not breather well, shes not sleeping very well, and we all know that means I'm not sleeping well either. Ugh, its rough having sick babies. On momma especially! I feel like we're back @ 3 or 4 weeks old, and we're up every 2 hr, if I'm lucky. And as for naps, well those are a hit and miss too.
Its no fun when you don't feel well, life is harder. I'm hoping little girl starts feeling better sooner than later - I know its not enjoyable for her either. I guess I can put in the baby book 'first cold' now! On the good side of 'first' Olivia is rolling over now! From her tummy to her back, she thinks its funny, and we think its cute to watcher to do it.
Kaia is doing just fine. Shes getting to be such a big girl and doing and saying so much. We can carry on a conversation w/ her these days. I was on the phone w/ my mother the other day and she was amazed to hear how much Kaia is talking. Again, something you don't really realizes when you're w/ them all the time. But then I remembered a moth or so ago, and it was like she went to bed saying a few words and woke up talking in full sentences! How does that happen?!
Next month I will be taking my first flight by myself w/ the girl to NC for thanksgiving. Mark will be coming a few days later, but the girls and I will be flying solo. I'm trying to pump myself up for it. The plus, its a direct flight, otherwise I'm not sure I would have done it. I think we'll be ok, I hope so!
I guess thats all for right now.
