Where Does the Time Go?

Today was a great day for ME 

Just me! 

I had the chance to take part in a CPR 'training' class. Not certification, but just a refresher, or basics class on what to do. And I can only hope that I'm not put in a situation like that in order to use the fine skills I brushed up on this afternoon, but it is nice to know that I have somewhat of an idea of what to do in case anything does happen :) 

It covered children and babies - the populations I'm working w/ and in these days - and we went over choking as well. I feel a little more prepared today now than I did yesterday.

So that was early this afternoon, and then I had the great pleasure of having what was to be brunch @ a tea room w/ a great girl friend, but we settled for the hamburger haven instead. 

Little side note, this was a location that was they use in celebrity apprentice a few seasons ago, random info. It was still nice to sit and chat and enjoy each other and catch up on whats been going on in our lives over the past few months. We couldn't believe that it had been over 3 months sense we last got together, we both looked @ each other and said what have we been doing? How is it already the middle of March?! I love chatting, and talking, and being w/ friends and I love it even more when I get to do it solo, w/o my little ones. Its just a great treat for me to have real adult conversation and enjoy another adults company. I was even able to talk about some things that I'm doing that have nothing to do w/ my girls. Wow! it is possible! I can have an area of my life that IS for me, the 'adult' me. Not just the 'mom' me. 

Having talked w/ my friend today reminded me of something that are dear to my heart and passions of mine. Things that I have forgotten, or pushed aside in hopes that I might get over them, or something else would come along. It also allowed me to to be encouraged and who doesn't want to be encouraged when going through something?! I'll post later, as things unfold what I'm talking about, but for now, I'm going to keep it veg : ) You'll just have to keep reading to find out!
