Last week I noticed that Kaia - my oldest - seemed to be having some kind of reaction to something. Her poor little face was red and swollen with dry patches and little bumps all over. I thought it might have been allergies, but I wasn't sure. I knew something was going on b/c she has been having a rough week as well. I couldn't figure it out! I was going crazy, and so was she. After talking to the Dr - again - he assured me that its just allergies, she'll be fine after a little Claritin and some ointment. . .. I'm holding my breath for real change.
She - Kaia - also is dealing w/ another big issue in her life. We've moved both girls into the same room. I'm happy to report that its been easier than I was expecting. Not great, but betting than I had thought.
The first night was rough, no one slept real well. Last night - night two - went much better, w/ them both sleeping well. Kaia was still restless, but most of that is due to her allergies, poor thing. As soon as this Claritin kicks in I'm sure she'll be sleeping much better - and so will I!
I'll make sure to post a follow up to how this new transition into one room goes, and how my little one is feeling w/ her new drugs.
