Ok, so maybe they won't all know my name, or everything about me - but they will know the life I lead, and the style of living I'm in.
I'm talking about Leading and Loving Its Virtual Community Groups that are made up of women in ministry from all over the country and a few around the world!
Last semester - in the spring - I was apart of the first one they sponsored and was very pleased to create, meet and continue some new relationships. I bonded with these ladies who know and understand where I'm coming from, and I can relate with where they are too. It was a wonderful refresher to know that we - in the church/ministry world - are not alone, not out here doing this all by ourselves - but also that its not just about our local church. Its about all of us - who are reaching people for Christ. It was a great experience to be encouraged and supported by others in the same line of work.
If you are in ministry and are looking to get connected once a month w/ some other ladies from all over the country, spend some time together, pray for each other I would highly recommend signing up for a group. There is a whole list of options of times and categories - ie. Sr. pastor wives, worship leader wives, youth pastors, women in leadership/ministry - here at their web sit.
Life was meant to be done together, so that we may pour into others, while they pour into us.
