So last week we got to look at our very first house. It was exciting for me, as we are starting this process and I've been watching everything HGTV that I can - just from that I'm already a home buying expert.
The house was - I thought - charming from the outside. Thats were it stopped though. It was too old than what we are looking for and the floor plan isn't what we would like. It was nice to get in and check out something with eye of 'could this be our first place'. Like I said before in the first post we are not looking to put an offer in any time soon, but did want to get ahead on the looking part.
For all you property owners what was your experience like? Did it take you a while to find something, and what helped you in the process? I know we have a long way to go, but I'm looking forward to it!

Matt and I love to watch HGTV. Property Virgins, House Hunters (International also), any of the fixing up shows, you name it on HGTV we LOVE to watch it!! Matt always says, "We have to keep the house clean because you never know when a magazine or TV show is just gonna stop by!!" :-p
