Yesterday we started a new message series that goes along with a book by Max Lucado entitled Traveling Light.
The preface of this book is the 23 Psalm, and today we look at verse one of that chapter -
The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.
What a great way to start off my week! I can remember 10 words. I can quot them to myself when I think I have nothing, when I forget Who's I am.
This week also kicks off our growth groups! I'm really looking forward to this time, a chance to meet and get to know some new people in our church. I'm leading a group at a local coffee shop and with this topic I know there will be some amazing convo. The big take away for me this morning was -
God can handle my situation - I just have to check my bags with Him
Isn't that something we can all relate with?! If you don't have a church home, or even go to church, and you live in the Buffalo area, I'd like to invite you to check out Akron Free next week.
