We are under contract for our first home! A very exciting time full of paper signing, looking at paint colors, appliances and new furniture. A time to hurry up and wait, having things looked at, and hopefully keep our close date! I'm not holding my breath for that last thing, as long as its with in the same week that would be nice.

On the other horizon of my life I'm throwing an event just for area pastor wives! I'm supper excited about this opportunity and the relationships that will come from it. It's been on my heart to create opportunities like this - with other pastor's wives - for the last year, and I'm finally doing something about it. This is a huge step for me to host something like this - to put myself out there, to be vulnerable to rejection, of women not signing up or coming. All these things are in the back of my mind, but deep in my heart I know that there Is a need and a desire for this kind of community. So, I'm going forward and hosting this event!

I will say that I did not come up with the idea all on my own, Leading and Loving It is the inspiration. This event is on their website and you can register through them under "Local Events". I'm also not doing all of the planing on my own. I'm very thankful to have a fabulous partner! She is a sweet girl - lady/mother/pastors wife - and I know I wouldn't be able to do this with out her! Thanks Cherie! I know we are going to come out with a great Mocktail Theme event, full of fun and encouragement!
If you are, or know of a pastors wife in the Rochester/Buffalo/Niagara Falls area pass this info along to them! I know that this will be a great time and I want to share that with other ladies in the ministry world!
