Our oldest daughter - Kaia - will be four in August. A week ago I took her for her first hair cut. It was something I knew needed to be done for about six months now, but wasn't ready to say good bye to all that beautiful baby hair. I wasn't ready give up that little girl that continues to grow into a big girl. Why rush it?!
The time had come though. It was time to say good bye and move on into the preschool stage of shorter hair and much less fighting to get it combed.
