This past weekend the girls and I were in NC visiting my family. It was nice to see my siblings, and spend some time with them. Mark wasn't able to go with us and I missed having him there. I was very blessed though to have such great travelers with me though the girls did wonderful.
We spent some time at the beach, relaxing, and seeing family. It was great to be back in my home town. I think I'm from a great place, and its so nice that my parents still live there - we have an excuse to visit! Being home made me miss the beach - as it always does - and I miss being close to my siblings, and family there.
What about you? Where are you from, and what makes you enjoy visiting that area? Is there something that puts your home town on the map, or something that you find very unique about your stomping grounds? I'd love to hear!

Looks like you had a wonderful time! The picture of the girls making waffles is especially precious. They must've had a blast!
