Swing Of Things

Summer is coming to and end, and the free spirit in the girls and I of summer is being rangled in and get in gear for a new fall school year!

It has come to that time when little ones grow up and are ready for school - our oldest Kaia will be starting Pre-K in just a few weeks. She got all her school supplies - thanks to her Nana - and lots of new school/play clothes - thanks to her birthday! I think she is all set.

With a new schedule getting ready to set the tone for our lives, and our lives that always seem to be in a state of change, I'm ready to gear up and hold on tight as we venture to see what exactly this fall has in store for us. We've never done this before - sent one off to school, been in our own home, me working - so its a little intimidating, but I guess when I look at it, everything we've done up till now has be a first at some point. . .

So as we get ready to start another new stage in our lives, and a new season is drawing closer I'm trying to get organized and in place for what might come, and all that will be. What about you? Will this fall be different than last year, are you heading into a new and uncharted adventure or routine? How are you handling the transition - I'd love to hear!

  1. Awww little Kaia in school! I'm sure she will love. I was just chatting with a fellow mom about how each stage is so new and intimidating at times with us being first time moms. It's wonderful how we are (usually!) able to adapt so well.
